Taking place between the 20th-29th of October, Celebrate Voice will bring acclaimed performers from the West End, leading opera houses and the recent Edinburgh Festival to our modern medieval city.

For the second time, all performances will be held in Salisbury’s iconic Guildhall, which will provide a central location for exciting shows featuring everything from opera and cabaret to jazz and community workshops.

This year the festival has a ‘Best of British’ flavour celebrating British performers, composers and writers.

Highlights of this year’s Celebrate Voice Festival include:

Liza Pulman opens the festival with a brand new show

This year's festival begins on a high as Liza Pulman brings her brand new show ‘The Heart of It’ to Salisbury. Well-known as one-third of the comedy trio Fascinating Aida, Pulman is renowned for her compelling performances and easy interaction with the audience, making her the perfect opening night artist for Celebrate Voice.

Claire Martin OBE performs at the festival for the very first time

This performance is not one to be missed! Claire Martin OBE is one of the UK's leading jazz stars and a multi-award-winning singer. This year, she takes to the stage at Celebrate Voice Festival for the very first time.

Described as ‘one of the crown jewels of the jazz world’, she will bring an international level of vocal performance to Salisbury.

Gilbert & Sullivan bring The Pirates of Penzance to the city

Prepare to laugh out loud as this leading British opera cast settles with local host families to bring four performances of The Pirates of Penzance to Salisbury.

Celebrating British operetta, Gilbert & Sullivan’s hit comedy show is as witty and relevant to contemporary society and politics today as it was when written. Led by William Morgan as Frederic, the show provides an unrivalled up-close experience to some of today’s leading opera stars.

An evening of ‘Coward & Friends’ with Janie Dee

Immerse yourself in this intimate and specially curated show as Olivier Award-winning West End star and actress, Janie Dee, takes a one-night break from filming to bring an evening of ‘Coward & Friends’ to Salisbury.

Celebrating the talent of the composer, singer and writer Noel Coward, the audience will feel like they are part of a special concert with their most musical friends.

Paulus presents Looking for me Friend – The Music of Victoria Wood

Remember the life and talents of one of Britain’s national treasures as the 2022 Edinburgh Fringe Festival sensation Paulus presents ‘Looking for me Friend – The Music of Victoria Wood'.
