Where to watch the world cup in Salisbury

As the country continues to cheer on The Three Lions in the first-ever winter World Cup, Salisbury’s hospitality venues invite you to join them to soak up the action.

The World Cup Kicked off on Sunday 20th November at the Al Bayt Stadium, with England playing their first match against Iran on Monday 21st November.

Next, England plays France on Saturday 10th December in the quarter-finals. 

Here are some of the venues in Salisbury showing the matches:

Avon Brewery 

Reserve your spot at the Avon Brewery for The World Cup this year as this Victorian pub serves up England’s games alongside some great pub grub. Book your spot here.

Bishop’s Mill

Immerse yourself in the beautiful game at Bishop’s Mill. The Salisbury venue will be showing all matches, over two floors, on seven TVs. The venue is now taking bookings and will be open from 10am daily to show the matches.

Bridge Tap

Take your seat at the Bridge Tap this winter to enjoy the World Cup matches. The venue will be taking bookings for half of the pub, so make sure you secure your seat.

Brown Street 

Watch the World Cup on the big screen at Brown Street, Salisbury. Tickets cost £5 and include a beverage of your choice. Nico’s Pizza will also be up for grabs during all of the World Cup games. Book your place here.

Deacons

England’s group games will be live at Deacons this winter and they will be providing complimentary bar snacks to keep you fueled up when cheering on The Three Lions!

George & Dragon

Get on down to the George & Dragon to support England this World Cup. The venue will be showing the England matches, plus other popular games and will have burger and hotdog specials on offer. Book your table now.

Old Ale and Coffee House

Gather your friends and watch this year's World Cup in the 'fanzone' found in the garden of the Old Ale and Coffee House. During the big games, the venue will be serving up hotdogs and burgers. The popular matches will also be shown on the TVs indoors - book a table here.

Ox Row Inn

Get lost in the action at the Ox Row Inn this World Cup as the pub aim to show every game. Tables are available on a first-come-first-served basis and they will not be taking bookings. There will also be additional seating upstairs in the function room when not in use.

The Bell & Crown

Keep warm by the fire and don’t miss a game of this year’s World Cup at The Bell & Crown on Catherine Street. Now taking bookings here.

The Market Inn 

The Market Inn will be showing the World Cup on the ground floor of the pub. There are a few tables available for bookings, otherwise stand at the bar, grab yourself a drink and get ready to cheer when England scores!
