Salisbury's Weekend What's On 27/28 November

Salisbury has embraced Christmas, and there are many ways to join the merriment this weekend.

Whether you want to play Hide & Seek with the Nutcracker Kings, say hello to Santa, take the perfect Christmas selfie or pick up unique festive gifts... you can in our modern medieval city.

Here’s what you can experience in Salisbury this weekend, 27th and 28th November.

The magic of Salisbury

No matter when you head into Salisbury this festive season there will always be something for you to do, and this weekend is no exception.

The Christmas Tree Trail is up and running. Download a map here and track down all 12 of the beautifully decorated trees that are dotted around the city. Start at Salisbury Cathedral, where this year's tree makes a perfect festive picture!

If it is a photo opportunity you’re looking for, the Old George Mall has just the thing: their Christmas bauble! It is back for another year and people are already queuing up to take some snaps.

The Christmas lights across the whole city are looking beautiful. It’s definitely worth a trip into the city centre as the sun goes down.

Head to the Guildhall Square for even more festive fun. The destination bar, Frost, is there right up until New Year. Enjoy a break from shopping, or make a night of it with friends and family. As part of Christmas on the Square, there are also food huts where you can pick up some delicious snacks and Santa will be there too! He’ll be at Santa’s Little Wonderland on both Saturday and Sunday but tickets must be booked in advance. Tickets are limited so book now to avoid disappointment.

If you are planning on doing some shopping this weekend, keep an eye out for the Nutcracker Kings. If you see one it could win you a £50 Salisbury Gift Card. Find all the details here.
