Only in Salisbury

Salisbury is a city that values craftsmanship.

You only need to look at our Cathedral to see the skill that built a medieval classic. 800 years on and we feel it is still important to champion our artisans – whether they make jewellery, clothes or sausages!

We encourage and celebrate independent businesses that trade in Salisbury provenance, in the craft and care that are the signatures of our city.

Here are some of the handcrafted gems you'll only find in Salisbury.

Pritchett's Butchers

There’s only one place to go for your Sunday brunch sausages  – Pritchett's Butcher in Salisbury! These beauties are handmade by Charles and Mark in their shop on Fish Row and are multi award-winning! Make sure you try the whole range: traditional pork - pork, honey and watercress – pork, herb and cracked black pepper.

Roly's Fudge

We realise Roly’s Fudge Pantry on the High Street is not an independent shop, but Salisbury's branch is owned by two local residents and they’ve got a Stonehenge made out of fudge in their window - you definitely won’t find that anywhere else! They also handmake their deliciously sweet treats in the heart of the city in full view for you to see. From sea salt to banana and cherry bakewell – there are many unusual flavours to try.
